Attorney Worden worked for four years as Advertising and Promotions Manager at E-The Environmental Magazine, a nationally and internationally circulated magazine. During this time, Attorney Worden represented the magazine at national meetings and had an article published on geothermal energy and two eco-product reviews. Her interest in environmental matters inspired her to pursue an M.S. in Environmental Education from Southern Connecticut State University, graduating Magna Cum Laude.
Attorney Worden has also worked as a law clerk at the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) and as a law clerk in the Harris County Attorney’s Office Environmental Section. These clerkships provided her with a familiarity of county, state, and federal environmental regulations.
The Worden Law Firm opened in 2010 with a focus on criminal, family, and probate matters. Since opening her doors, Attorney Worden has represented numerous clients with parole revocation hearings, misdemeanors, clearing of criminal records, representation in Family Protective Services cases, divorce, and enforcements of child custody orders. She enjoys the fast paced world of law and solving daily legal problems while helping clients better their lives.
Honors and Activities
Attorney Worden received the Houston Bar Association’s 2009 Annual Environmental Section Scholarship for her research on Houston’s air pollution problems. She has presented as part of a Continuing Legal Education (CLE) class concerning Houston air pollution.
Attorney Worden served as Austin chapter President of the Texas Green Network and a member of their board from mid 2010 until mid 2011. She is a regular blood donor and also participates in park clean up and animal rescue activities.
Jennifer is a rare Austin native. She attended college at the University of North Texas with major studies in Art History and Design.
Upon moving back to Austin, Jennifer gained employment at the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office where she worked in the Warrants Division for five years. Eventually, she transferred to the county courthouse where she worked as an Office Assistant for a well-respected County Court Judge for two years.
During her time at the courthouse, Jennifer met Jessica. They instantly bonded over their potty mouths and love of dirty jokes. Jennifer enjoyed working in the court so much, she eventually decided to expand her knowledge in the legal field and joined forces with Jessica as her Paralegal Extraordinaire. History is being made.
